Outreach at Cons

Spirit and Truth Fellowship of Knoxville (STFK) has been doing evangelistic outreach at pop-culture fan conventions ("cons") since 2012 and represents a significant part of our ministry. In most cases, the church has a booth or table in the vendor area where we talk with attendees who approach us. We share about our church and why we are there. Sometimes, we have the opportunity to provide a church service for staff, volunteers, attendees, and celebrity guests.

Why This Outreach?

The following message from Pastor David Spakes explains why. It is taken from a social media post he made on December 12, 2022 to two Facebook groups for cosplayers in the area of Knoxville, Tennessee.
